The company commenced operation in 1991 and is registered for the transport and sales of construction material, under the name of Transkop. The company had developed to a stage where a necessity for a new, final, and prospective company headquarters arose. Due to this, the location west from Paracin was chosen.

During 2002 the construction and installation of equipment for the separation of gravel, which had been exploited for a long time from the Velika Morava , was completed and in 2003 the ready-mix plant that was built directly next to the separation was put into operation and for several months now supplies ready-mix concrete for many construction sites in Serbia and also for the first manual production of kerbstones and concrete pipes for sewage. This production is for the creation of the first experiences in production and sales of future industrial production range of concrete elements.

During 2007 the installation of a factory-asphalt plant was completed, and in December 2007 the trial production of asphalt mixtures commenced. Year 2008 was marked by two major investments, beginning of formation of the quarry and putting in operation the concrete factory for the production of precast elements.

Today Transkop represents a company with a few areas of activity: production and sales of gravel fractions and ready-mix concrete, production and sales of concrete and “behaton” elements, production and sales of asphalt mix, transportation services, construction work and machinery.
